RESTOCK: From the ARCHIVES. In 2015, when I first moved to Long Beach, our apartment was robbed of thousands of dollars of inventory. At that point I thought, game over...so I decided to go to Long Beach Community College and take some classes (even though I had just graduated from a Master's program 2 years before). One of the classes I took was in typography. I spent an entire semester distilling what the essence of The Rad Black Kids was, and this was the logo I felt would change my life. This logo symbolizes how failure is burdensome word for a second chance. This logo is about rebirth, trying again, even when it all seems meaningless.
